The highly anticipated night by the art and fashion world has had its grand opening this year with the exhibition of legendary American designer: “Charles James: Beyond Fashion”. Another eye-catching detail, was this year’s annual MET Ball which was spectacular compared to the previous years. In order to reflect the nobleness and the stylishness of the exhibited dresses, the dress code was “white-tie” akin to the ones at the royal balls. Men made effort to dress appropriately as well as the women this year.
Karolina Kurkova was the most elegantly dressed at the event. She reflected the “royal stylishness” very well with her well-carried Marchesa dress, which was complimented by Harry Winston jewelry. I strongly believe that at events, being fashionable is not merely enough. You must be fashionable in a way, which should represent the concept of the event.
Karolina’s exquisite style will be remembered for many years to come…

Moda ve sanat dünyasının her sene merakla beklediği gece, bu sene efsanevi Amerikan Couture Tasarımcısı ile kapılarını açıyor “Charles James: Beyond Fashion”. Sergi kadar dikkat çekici olan başka unsur, gelenekselleşen MET Balosu bu sene geçtiğimiz yıllara göre çok daha görkemliydi. Bu sene sergideki gece kıyafetlerinin asalet ve şıklığını yansıtması için dress-code (kıyafet yönetmeliği) en üst seviyede yani kraliyet Balolarındaki gibi (smokinli) ”white-tie” dı. Bu sene kadınlar kadar erkeklerde ne giyecekleri konusunda uğraş sarf ettiler diyebiliriz.
Gecenin en şık ismi bence Karolina Kurkova`ydı. Marchesa imzalı tuvaleti ve Harry Winston mücevherleri ile asil şıklığı çok iyi yansıtıyordu. Konsept ile belirlenmiş özel gecelerde sadece şık olmak değil gecenin konseptine de uygun olmanın önemli olduğunu düşünürüm.
Karolina’nın bu geceki şıklığı önümüzdeki yıllarda da anılmaya devam edecek…
