I must confess that they are the most important piece of the collection, enforcing me to check the collection out over and over again. Especially the one with crystals & beadings on top of satin made me fall in love with them.

I love the latest trend of combining casual and chic items in the past few seasons.
Alessandro Dell’Acqua has interpreted this trend in a splendid way in her collection. Lace skirts are combined with cotton shirts; transparent skirts are matched with cardigans. Black leather belt has been used almost in the entire collection, fore fronting the thin waistlines.

At the end of the day Dell’Acqua has created a collection, which I would wear over and over again… Applause…

Saten Ayakkabılar…
Koleksiyona tekrar ve tekrar bakmamı sağlayan en önemli parça olduğunu itiraf etmeliyim. Sıra dışı formu ile ilk bakışta dikkatimi çekmeyi başardı. Saten üzeri işleme ve taşlarla süslü olanlar ise kendine aşık etmeyi bildi ; )

Son sezonlarda spor ve şık parçaların birbirleri ile kullanılması en sevdiğim trendlerden. Alessandro Dell'Acqua, bu trendi koleksiyonunda çok iyi yorumlamış. Güpür dantel eteklere, koton gömlekler – transparan eteklere, trikolar eşlik ediyor. Nerdeyse tüm koleksiyonda siyah deri kemer kullanılarak ince beller ön plana çıkarılmış.

İşin sonunda tüm parçalarını defalarca sıkılmadan giyebileceğim bir koleksiyon yaratmış Dell'Acqua… Alkışlar alkışlar…

Marc Jacobs caught the attention of the fashion industry with his innovative runway show rather than his SS15 collection. The decor of a pink runway with a huge town house in the middle was contrasted by models who looked like characters from a Sci-Fi novel due to all having the same hairstyle.

All guests were given headphones in collaboration with Beats by Dre. Nobody was able to hear neither the talks nor the noises without them.Marc Jacobs gets more and more creative about his runway shows every season. We are waiting impatiently for what we will face in the future shows. (Marc Jacobs had left LV couple of years ago in order to concentrate more on his own label.)

The collection, which was inspired from military uniforms, consisted mainly of military green, khaki and natural tones and was completed with navy blue. Although I tend to find MJ’s shoes and bags quite boring (except for some models), he seems to be on the right track this time. I guess we will be seeing much more MJ on streetstyle photos next summer…

Marc Jacobs, SS15 koleksiyonunda yaptığı tasarımlardan çok, yenilikçi defilesiyle kendinden söz ettirmeyi başardı. Adeta bilimkurgu filmlerinden çıkmış tek tip saçlı modeller, pespembe podyumun ortasındaki devasa ev ile pozitif bir görüntü çizen dekora, tamamıyla kontrast oluşturuyordu.

Beats by Dre ile yaptığı işbirliği ile tüm konuklara ait kulaklıklar verildi. Bu kulaklıklar olmadan sesler ve konuşmalar duyulmuyordu. Marc Jacobs defilelerinde yaratıcılık her geçen sezon daha da artıyor. Önümüzdeki sezonlarda bizleri nelerin beklediğini heyecan içinde beklemeye başlıyoruz. (Marc Jacobs, LV`den kendi markasına daha fazla zaman ayırabilmek adına ayrılmıştı.)

Askeri üniformalardan ilhamını almış koleksiyonda; askeri yeşil, haki ve toprak tonlarına lacivert eşlik ediyordu. MJ`ın çanta ve ayakkabı modellerini istisnalar dışında sıkıcı bulmama rağmen bu sezon daha doğru bir çizgi yakalamışa benziyor. Streetstyle fotoğraflarda önümüzdeki yaz daha fazla MJ göreceğiz sanırım…

Viktor & Rolf have found their muse from the red carpet itself for their Fall 2014 couture collection. The dresses, which remind us of the primitive women, are formed of exotic animal figures and giant bows.

This season, Viktor & Rolf has transitioned into natural hair and make up wearing primitive women from ballerinas with frizzy hair. (check out our post ‘Ballerinas for Bonbon’)

It is a big mystery whether I’ll wear these dresses myself. However, I really enjoyed checking them out and sketching them. Doesn’t the idea of wearing these giant bows make you feel great?

Viktor&Rolf, 2014 sonbahar couture koleksiyonunun ilhamını kırmızı halının kendisinde bulmuş. Taş devri kadınlarını anımsatan sadece kırmızı renkten oluşan koleksiyonda, abartılı büyüklükte fiyonklar ve egzotik hayvan desenleri var.

Viktor&Rolf, kabarık saçlı balerinlerden, (yazıyı hatırlamak isteyenler ‘Ballerinas for Bonbon’ a göz atabilir) doğal saç ve makyajlı taş devri kadınlarına geçiş yaptı bu sezon.

Bu kıyafetleri giyer miydim orası soru işareti ama çizmesi ve incelemesi bana mutluluk verdi. Bu devasa fiyonkları giyme fikri size de kendinizi iyi hissettirmiyor mu?

We’re on the day after of a little fairytale…Valli woman are on the catwalk, in the morning after a long night wearing her sunglasses and gathering her hair up with a silk scarf…She is combining her dress, which she couldn’t get enough of, on top of her PJ’s.

Valli presents her young couture clients with a new approach by combining traditional and up-to-date couture elements. Would it be possible to see a couture jacket covered in 3D handcrafted flowers in lila combined with trousers with curled hemlines during the 50’s?

Street and High fashion are merging with one and other. Haute Couture is gradually becoming comfort-chic like street fashion.

If we could have Couture sneakers, a trend which Dior started in the previous seasons, why not have Valli Couture pajamas!

Küçük bir masalın ertesi günündeyiz … Geç biten gecenin sabahında uykusuz gözlerinizi gözlükle, dağınık saçlarınızı ipek eşarp ile saklayarak podyumda Valli kadını. Dün gece giymeye doyamadığı elbisesini pijamasının üstünde kombinliyor. Geçen gecedeki saç ve makyaj bizlerin hayal gücüne kalıyor sanki

Valli geleneksel Couture unsurlarını güncel moda ile harmanlayıp genç couture müşterilerine yeni bir yaklaşım sunuyor. 50 li yıllarda ,Lila 3 boyutlu el yapımı çiçekler ile bezenmiş couture ceket altında paçaları kıvrılmış pantolonu bir arada görebilir miydik ?

Sokak modası ve Yüksek Moda(high fashion) birbirinden ayrılmayacak kadar birbirinin içine girmiş durumda. Haute-Couture giderek sokak modasının rahat şıklığına yaklaşıyor.

Geçen sezonlarda Dior ile başlayan Couture spor ayakkabılar olurda , Valli Couture pijamalar neden olmasın !

We are holding our breaths as the countdown continues. 2 days to go…

We are all very curious about what the designers will show us on NYFW. The race of young designers seeking for recognition amongst the iconic New Yorker designers continues.  I’m especially waiting for the DVF fashion show. I heard there will be a couple of surprises. Well, we’ll wait and see.

As New York is currently covered in snow, I’ve done a street-style illustration while thinking of this beautiful city in that state. Upon completion, I’ve fallen in love with the beanie, coat and the shoes, which made me wish that I really had them. What do you think? Did you like my designs?

Nefesler tutuldu geri sayıma devam ediyoruz. Son 2 gün ….

New York Moda haftasında tasarımcıların neler sunacağını merakla bekliyoruz. İkonik New Yorker tasarımcılarının yanında, genç markalarında kendini gösterme yarışı devam ediyor. Defileler içeresinde özellikle DVF defilesini merakla bekliyorum. Bazı sürprizler olacağını duydum, hep birlikte göreceğiz.

New York’a karlı günler hakim olduğundan karlar içindeki güzel şehri düşünerek bu Street-style illüstrasyonu yaptım. Çizimi tamamladıktan sonra bere , palto ve ayakkabılara aşık olup, gerçek olmalarını çok istediğimi anladım. Siz ne düşünüyorsunuz tasarımlarımı beğendiniz mi?
